Sunday Gospel Growth @ 9:30AM

The Gospel & Work (Classroom 1 - Upstairs)

The Gospel changes everything; even the way you work. Whether you work in an office, on a jobsite, in your home, or somewhere in between, the Bible has a lot to say about how the gospel informs our careers.

The Gospel and Work is a seven-week class exploring what it looks like to think biblically about our jobs, careers, and daily responsibilities. We’ll begin by developing a biblical theology of work, and from there, we’ll turn to practical questions Christians regularly face in the workplace.

We'll look at questions of ethics, gender, and even joblessness as we navigate a biblical theology of work.

What should motivate our work? How should we work under overbearing bosses and difficult coworkers? How do we think about work-life balance, career decisions, and opportunities to share our faith? Throughout the study we'll be addressing questions that you're facing in your own jobs right now.

Whether you love your job, struggle with it, or are simply trying to understand its place in the Christian life, this class will help you approach your work with greater faithfulness, purpose, and a distinctly Christian perspective.

History Of Global Church Missions (Classroom 2 - Downstairs)

What happened to the church after the book of Acts? Where did the gospel go—and how has God continued to build His church among the nations?

Come enjoy History of Global Church Missions, a seven-week journey around the world, as we explore the remarkable story of Christianity across cultures, continents, and centuries.

Each and every Sunday, September 20th to November 1st in Classroom 1; together, we’ll visit Brazil, China, India, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, Russia, and the Korean Peninsula, discovering how the gospel has taken root and spread in places and cultures far beyond our own.

Along the way, we’ll encounter faithful missionaries and indigenous believers, seasons of remarkable growth, persecution and suffering, cultural challenges, and unexpected movements of the gospel. More importantly, we’ll see the faithfulness of God as He continues to gather people from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation to Himself.

This class is more than a history lesson. It is an opportunity to better understand the global church, rejoice in what God has done, and consider how the story of missions should shape our own calling to make disciples of all nations.

Come learn the story. Come celebrate God’s faithfulness. Come be challenged to join God’s mission
